[Daily Wisdom]

Just as you wash your soiled clothes with detergent again and again until they are clean, 

so must you cleanse your mind with good teachings when it becomes soiled from afflictions and defilements.

 옷에 때가 묻으면 잿물로 몇 번이고 빨아 더러운 옷을 깨끗이 하는 것처럼 

마음에 번뇌 망상의 때가 낄 때는 선한 가르침으로 마음의 때를 씻어야 할 것이다.

Never do bad deeds, but uphold and perform good deeds.  

Remain pure in thought and deed; that is the teaching of all enlightened.

모든 악업을 짓지 말고 모든 선한 업을 받들어 행하라

스스로 그 생각과 행동을 깨끗이 하는 것 이것이 모든 깨친 이의 가르침이다.
